Mentoring Refugees in the U.S.

Tent’s U.S. Refugee Mentorship Program provides refugees in the United States with career support and guidance to help them advance in their careers.

In Partnership With:

Refugees face many barriers to securing employment in the U.S. These can include a lack of familiarity with U.S. workplace culture and the job search process, a lack of professional networks, and a lack of understanding of career pathways in the U.S.

The U.S. business community is well placed to help address this challenge. By mobilizing their employees to provide professional mentorship to refugees – including resume writing, best practices for job interviews, and insights into the local job market – businesses can play a critical role in helping this population to restart or advance in their careers.

Participating Companies

Dozens of leading employers have joined Tent’s U.S. Refugee Mentorship Program, mobilizing their employees to provide professional guidance and support to refugees.

All forcibly displaced individuals living in the U.S. with a legal immigration status, as well as U.S. citizens, who are 18 years old or older are eligible to participate.
