A graduate of HEC and the Sorbonne, Mercedes specializes in building and managing major brands (Danone, Air France, Evian, etc.).
On a personal level, Mercedes is involved in numerous causes promoting human and women’s rights, including the French Committee of Human Rights Watch, which she co-chairs, and the National Museum of the History of Immigration, where she served as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for 14 years. She spearheaded the creation of the Filière Communication in 2015 and chairs the Association des actions pour la Filière Communication.
Mercedes Erra is a Commander of the Legion of Honor, Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters, and Officer of the National Order of Merit.
