Gegenbauer Services has hired about 450 refugees in Germany since 2015. The company is helping to improve the language skills of their employees, including refugees, through an app that has been adapted to meet the specific needs of Gegenbauer. The company has also developed a program that provides training to employees, including refugees, to ensure employment for those that already have some practical skills but lack formal qualification and recognition in the labor market.
