In 2023, L’Oreal Group joined five companies in collectively committing to hire 1,750 refugees, including Ukrainian refugee women, over three years across Europe.
L’Oréal is part of the Tent Coalition for Refugees in the U.S., exploring hiring and training opportunities for refugees across the country.
L’Oréal has provided highly-skilled refugees with a six-month internship in France and Germany as part of its INTERNgration project. In addition, L‘Oréal has created a one-year program for refugees in the Netherlands to train to become hairdressers.
Mentorship
In 2021, L‘Oréal committed to mentoring 50 refugee women in France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands over three years.
In 2022, L’Oréal committed to mentoring 50 LGBT*IQ refugees in Düsseldorf over three years.
