In 2023, L’Oreal Group joined five companies in collectively committing to hire 1,750 refugees, including Ukrainian refugee women, over three years across Europe.

L’Oréal is part of Tent U.S., Tent España, Tent France, Tent México, and Tent UK, exploring opportunities to help refugees enter the labor market in these five countries, including through employment or job preparation.

L’Oréal has provided highly-skilled refugees with a six-month internship in France and Germany as part of its INTERNgration project. In addition, L‘Oréal has created a one-year program for refugees in the Netherlands to train to become hairdressers.

Mentorship

In 2021, L‘Oréal committed to mentoring 50 refugee women in France, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands over three years.

In 2022, L’Oréal committed to mentoring 50 LGBT*IQ refugees in Düsseldorf over three years.
