In 2022, ManpowerGroup committed to connecting 3,000 refugees to employment opportunities with its clients in the United States over three years. ManpowerGroup will provide these refugees with upskilling and training courses to prepare them for the American job market, as well as to 1:1 coaching that includes tailored professional guidance. ManpowerGroup will hire recruiters with language skills of the predominant refugee communities to be able to support them in their career search.

In 2019, ManpowerGroup committed to connecting 250 refugees in the Netherlands to sustainable employment by 2020. After successfully reaching 400 refugees, in 2022, ManpowerGroup committed to connecting 800 refugees to employment opportunities at its clients in the Netherlands over two years, with a specific focus on helping refugee women and LGBTQ refugees find meaningful work.

ManpowerGroup is part of the Tent Coalition for Refugees in the U.S., exploring hiring and training opportunities for refugees across the country. 

ManpowerGroup is also part of the Sunflower Project, Tent’s initiative to accelerate the economic inclusion of Ukrainian refugee women in Europe through better access to employment.

Mentorship

In 2022, ManpowerGroup committed to mentoring 50 LGBTQ refugees in the Netherlands over three years.

In 2021, ManpowerGroup committed to mentoring 50 refugee women in the Netherlands over three years, and is exploring mentoring in Germany, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
