Oneida Nation Enterprises is part of the Tent U.S., exploring opportunities to help refugees enter the labor market, including through employment or job preparation.

Oneida has employed hundreds of refugees in the central New York area since the 1990s, and has helped create a welcoming environment by establishing an employee engagement team dedicated to supporting refugees and immigrants.

In 2022, Oneida committed to a goal of hiring 300 refugees for full-time roles and 60 refugees for part-time roles over three years in the United States. As part of this effort, Oneida will host job fairs with refugee-focused organizations, and develop cross-cultural onboarding and training materials. Oneida will also provide on-site translation support, and will offer affordable employee housing and free transportation to help refugee employees get to and from work.
