In 2023, Pfizer committed to hire 100 refugees, including Ukrainian women, across its European operations over three years.

In 2022, Pfizer committed to hiring 500 refugees over three years in the United States. Through its Refugee Leadership Initiative, Pfizer will provide coaching and support to these refugee employees, and offer resources and tools to support their integration into the U.S. workforce. This builds on Pfizer’s 2021 goal to hire 100 refugees and mentor an additional 150 refugees by the end of 2022.

Pfizer is part of Tent U.S., Tent Canada, Tent España, Tent FranceTent México, and Tent UK, exploring opportunities to help refugees enter the labor market in these six countries, including through employment or job preparation.

Mentorship

In 2023, Pfizer committed to mentoring 50 Afghan refugees over three years in cities across the United States.
