Starbucks committed to hiring 10,000 refugees in 75 markets in which Starbucks currently operates. Starbucks will work in partnership with NGOs to provide job readiness training for careers in retail and employment opportunities to qualified candidates who possess work authorization.

Starbucks is part of Tent U.S, Tent France, and Tent UK, exploring opportunities to help refugees enter the labor market in these three countries, including through employment or job preparation.

Mentorship

In 2023, Starbucks committed to mentoring 50 Afghan refugees over three years in cities across the United States, including Seattle and Washington D.C
