VF, the parent company of brands including VANS, The North Face, Timberland, among others, has developed a partnership with Jobroad in Belgium to create employment opportunities for refugees.

In the Netherlands, the company has arranged 1-on-1 meetings between employees and the refugees from a local refugee center, as part of its initiative Twents Cameraadje initiative which helps refugees acquiring Dutch language and cultural skills. As a result, refugees have been hired at Timberland’s distribution center.

VF plans to hire refugees for retail positions in its The North Face, Vans, Timberland, and Napapijri stores in Germany.
