The Tent Coalition for Refugees in the U.S. is a network of diverse companies from across the country stepping up to integrate refugees, including by training and hiring them.
This effort will empower all refugees who are beginning a new life in America, and will reduce the barriers they face integrating into the U.S. economy.
A long-standing bipartisan tradition of welcome
Since 1980, the U.S. has admitted more than 3 million refugees. The current administration has pledged to welcome hundreds of thousands of additional displaced people – including 95,000 Afghans who worked alongside the U.S military and 100,000 Ukrainians forced to flee Russia’s recent military invasion. There is a unique opportunity for businesses to step up and help these newcomers to economically integrate into their new communities.
Companies Are Stepping Up Across the Country
More than 100 major brands have already joined Tent’s Coalition for Refugees in the U.S., exploring concrete opportunities to hire, train, or help integrate refugees into their communities in other meaningful ways.
