Hamdi Ulukaya speaks to PBS NewsHour in lead up to World Refugee Day 2019

In the lead-up to World Refugee Day 2019, Hamdi Ulukaya, CEO of Chobani and Founder of Tent, was interviewed by Pavni Mittal for PBS NewsHour. During the interview, Ulukaya discussed everything from his “anti-CEO playbook,” made famous in his 2019 TedTalk, through to the founding of Tent Partnership for Refugees.

When asked about why companies join Tent, Ulukaya explained: “We tell them that when you hire refugees, they’re going to be the most loyal, they’re going to work harder, because they’ve gone through so much trouble… all the investment you make as a company or as a society will bring back more innovation, activity and culture to your company. You will be a better company.”
