In-kind Donation

Travers Smith is providing pro bono support to organizations working with refugees. In particular, in 2015 the firm helped set up Refugees at Home, a UK charity which has, to date, provided over 170,000 nights of free accommodation to refugees and asylum seekers by connecting them with people with a spare room. Travers Smith also acts as pro bono General Counsel to Refugees at Home, providing a significant amount of free legal assistance to the charity each year, and the firm offers a range of other practical and financial support. In 2020, Travers Smith began providing legal support to Code Your Future, a non-profit coding school for refugees and disadvantaged people who want to become web developers.
