Fast company agrees: Hiring refugees is good for business
Reporter Adele Peters covered Tent’s research report Refugees as Employees: Good Retention, Strong Recruitment for Fast Company.
Produced in partnership with the Fiscal Policy Institute, the report highlights that hiring refugees is good for businesses, especially those that are looking to increase retention rates. The research found that, of the companies surveyed, 73% experienced higher retention rates for refugee employees compared to other employees.
Gideon Maltz, Executive Director of the Tent, said: ““We hope that businesses look at this report and realize that there is a significant business dividend to hiring refugees even with modest investments upfront.”
